Reviewing my projects

Readers, I set aside a little time this afternoon, now that I have finished dad's chunky, warm winter socks (above). The pattern is Wool Ease Basic Socks and knits to Aran weight. I used what is nearly the last of the Windermere Bonus Aran to do them.

So OTK I still had a sweater for my husband (ok, just hibernating for the time being), the Men's Cardigan Vest in Louisa Harding Kimono ( hibernating until I check the blue colour with my dad), a pair of vintage socks (coming out too large, even for a man so frogged), the Jo Sharp women's sweater (my gauge is completely off, despite using the recommended yarn, so frogged), the beaded shawl (yarn too heavy and scratchy for a shawl so frogged).

All this clearing out of old projects going nowhere led me to wind a skein of Aslan Trends Royal Alpaca for the Mustard Seed Cowl - to be gifted.
